Ashanti Fortson is an award-winning cartoonist, illustrator, comics editor, and color designer. Their comics work explores the rifts and connections between people, they are deeply interested in textiles, and their love for color is a thread that runs through everything they make. Ashanti lives in Baltimore with their spouse Binglin Hu, their cat Miss Cheese, and at least three pet rats at all times. Binglin is a designer-illustrator-cartoonist and multidisciplinary maker of things. They are an enjoyer and creator of accessible sci-comm, playful design, and strange storytelling.
Ashanti and Binglin run Seatoad together, selling zines and handmade goods.
