Queer Yiddish Camp

Queer Yiddish Camp is a space for folks with various marginalized identities to have a transformative experience learning Yiddish that is accessible, affordable, reflects and celebrates the full expression of our identities, and engages with the breadth of Yiddish history, culture, and activism, which has always included trans and queer and norm-breaking ancestors.

Last year the theme of the annual fundraiser cabaret was Queer, Lefty, Yiddish Futures. Queer Yiddish Camp loved the many and varied interpretations of this theme so they asked the performers if they could put their responses into a zine and opened a Call for Submissions from our wider community. The result is Volume 1 of the Queer Lefty Yiddish Futures zine: Hearts & Hands. Filled with poetry, collage, and original art, this zine lets us imagine a future together of liberation for all!
