The RWC Zine Library is a small group of folks who love zines and supporting their community! They are not a formal organization, public institution, thesis project, corporation, nonprofit, for profit, or formal mutual aid group. They work closely with several Bay Area mutual aid groups providing services to our unhoused community members!
The RWC Zine Library purchases zines and accepts donated ones as well. They do not resell zines; all of the zines in the library are free! The library does not currently have a physical space, but they do bring the library’s collection to a variety of events. They love teaching folks, especially young folks, about zines! The @rwc.zinelibrary has a small shop (on the Ko-Fi platform) where they sell zines (created by the library team) and merch. We donate a portion of sales and all remaining proceeds go to maintaining the zine library 📚 The zine library is a concept, a project, an art piece, a poem, a gathering, a moment in time.
